Bhutan is a tiny and remote kingdom nestling in the Himalayas between its powerful neighbours, India and China. Almost completely cut off for centuries, it has tried to let in some aspects of the outside world while fiercely guarding its ancient traditions. The Bhutanese name for Bhutan, Druk Yul, means “Land of the Thunder Dragon” and it only began to open up to outsiders in the 1970s.
Day 1
Pick up from Paro International Airport and transfer to Thimphu for Night Stay
Meet and greet at Paro International Airport and transfer to Thimphu,. Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital, occupies a valley in the country’s western interior. In addition to being the government seat, the city is known for its Buddhist sites. The massive Tashicchhoe Dzong is a fortified monastery and government palace with gold-leaf roofs. The Memorial Chorten, a whitewashed structure with a gold spire, is a revered Buddhist shrine dedicated to Bhutan’s third king, Jigme Dorji Wangchuk. Check in at Hotel and Overnight stay at Thimphu
Day 2
Thimphu Full Day Sightseeing and night stay at Thimphu
After Breakfast: Visit Sightseeing Starts- 1) Durga Temple/Shiv Temple 2) Buddha Point, 3) Coronation Park, 4) Takin Zoo (National Animal of Bhutan),5) Memorial Chorten 6) Folk Heritage Museum, 7) National Painting School 8) Royal Textile Museum, 9) Handmade Paper Factory, 10) Tashicchhoe Dzong & 11) Simply Bhutan(Traditional Culture Program – Tuesday Closed)- Overnight Stay in Thimphu.
Day 3
Thimphu to excursion Punakha Sightseeing and later transfer to Paro for Night Stay
Morning transfer to Punakha, it is approximately 90 kilometers and is nearly 03Hrs driver from Thimphu. En-route visit 1) Dochu la Pass, 2) Chhimi Lhakhang, 3) Punakha Dzong, 4) Suspension Bridge (Longest Bridge in Bhutan).
Later transfer to Paro It is the site of the country’s only international airport and is also known for the many sacred sites in the area. It has a population of 39, 800. Check -In at Hotel & overnight Stay in Paro

Day 4
Paro full day Local Sightseeing or Optional – Hike to Tiger Nest Monastery and Overnight Stay at Paro
Morning Visit – 1) Rinpung Dzong (Paro Dzong), 2) Kichu Lhakhang Monastery, 3) Drukgyal Dzong (Presently closed for Tourist), 4) Tiger Nest Monasteries (Viewpoint), 5) Ta Dzong (Paro Museum)
Optional – Hike to Tiger Nest Monastery (Hike uphill will take around 2/3 Hrs on way)
Paro Taktsang is a prominent Himalayan Buddhist sacred site and the temple complex is located in the Cliffside of the upper Paro valley in Bhutan. A temple complex was first built in 1692, around the Taktsang Senge Samdup cave where Guru Padmasambhava is said to have meditated for three years, three months, three weeks, three days and three hours in the 8th century. Padmasambhava is credited with introducing Buddhism to Bhutan and is the tutelary deity of the country. Today, Paro Taktsang is the best known of the thirteen Taktsang or “tiger lair” caves in which he meditated. Night Stay at Paro.

Day 5
Paro to transfer Paro International Airport for departure
After Breakfast: Check out from Paro Hotel and transfer to Paro International Airport for departure.
