Day 1
Paro Arrival and Transfer to Thimphu
Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, you will be warmly received by your tour guide and embark on a scenic one-hour drive to Thimphu, the charming capital of Bhutan. After checking into your hotel and settling in, your afternoon unfolds with visits to some of Thimphu’s most iconic landmarks. Begin at KuenselPhodrang, home to the majestic Buddha Dordenma statue overlooking the valley, followed by the serene National Memorial Chorten, a place of daily devotion for locals and conclude your day at a vibrant local craft bazaar, showcasing traditional Bhutanese artistry and handmade treasures.

Thimphu Sightseeing Tour
Today’s sightseeing tour offers a captivating introduction to Bhutan’s cultural and historical essence. Begin with a visit to Tashichho Dzong, an impressive fortress-monastery that houses the seat of government and the central monastic body. Continue to KuenselPhodrang, where the towering Buddha Dordenma statue overlooks the Thimphu Valley in serene grandeur. A stop at the Takin Preserve allows you to encounter Bhutan’s unique national animal in its natural habitat.
