Day 1
Paro Arrival and Transfer to Thimphu
Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, you will be warmly received by your tour guide and embark on a scenic one-hour drive to Thimphu, the charming capital of Bhutan. After checking into your hotel and settling in, your afternoon unfolds with visits to some of Thimphu’s most iconic landmarks. Begin at KuenselPhodrang, home to the majestic Buddha Dordenma statue overlooking the valley, followed by the serene National Memorial Chorten, a place of daily devotion for locals and conclude your day at a vibrant local craft bazaar, showcasing traditional Bhutanese artistry and handmade treasures.

Day 2
Thimphu to Gangtey- Journey into Tarnquility
Depart from Thimphu this morning for a scenic drive to Gangtey, nestled in the pristine Phobjikha Valley, one of Bhutan’s most beautiful and ecologically significant regions. The journey takes approximately 5–6 hours and winds through lush forests, mountain passes, and charming rural landscapes.
En route, stop at Dochula Pass (3,100 m), a breathtaking vantage point adorned with 108 chortens. On clear days, the pass offers panoramic views of the eastern Himalayas. Continue your descent into the tranquil Phobjikha Valley, a glacial plain surrounded by pine-cloaked mountains and home to the endangered, black-necked cranes during the winter months.

Spiritaul Prilgrimage in Bumthang
Dedicate your day to a profound spiritual journey in the sacred valley of Bumthang, often called Bhutan’s spiritual heartland. Begin with a visit to Kurje Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s most revered temples, known for its sacred cave where Guru Rinpoche meditated.
Next, explore Jambay Lhakhang, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan, rich with history and vibrant murals. Then, head to Tamshing Lhakhang, famed for its ancient murals and as a center of Buddhist learning.

Today, embark on a long yet breathtaking journey from the spiritual heights of Bumthang to the lush, subtropical valley of Punakha. The drive takes approximately 7–8 hours, winding through mountain passes, pine forests, and traditional villages that showcase Bhutan’s untouched beauty.
Along the way, stop briefly at Trongsa, the ancestral home of Bhutan’s royal family, and admire the grandeur of Trongsa Dzong, strategically perched above the Mangde River.
As you descend into Punakha, the landscape transforms into terraced fields and warmer breezes. Arrive in the evening and check in to your hotel. If time permits, take a short walk-through nearby rice paddies or enjoy the peaceful sounds of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers.
